Licences and trademarks

Script AI is built on open-source software and open-licensed fonts. This page lists what it uses and the terms that software comes under, and names the trademarks that belong to other companies.

Fonts

• Hind — Copyright 2014 Indian Type Foundry. Licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Used for Hindi, Marathi and other Devanagari text, in the app and on this site.
• Inter — Copyright 2020 The Inter Project Authors. Licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Used for Interface labels and numbers.

Open-source software

• React and React Native — MIT, Meta Platforms and contributors.
• Expo — MIT, 650 Industries.
• Next.js — MIT, Vercel.
• FastAPI, Starlette, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy — MIT and BSD, their authors.
• PyAV and FFmpeg libraries — BSD-3-Clause, with FFmpeg under LGPL-2.1, the PyAV and FFmpeg projects.
• NumPy and SciPy — BSD-3-Clause, the NumPy and SciPy developers.
• Supabase client libraries — MIT, Supabase.
• TanStack Query — MIT, Tanner Linsley.

These are the main ones. Every other library we depend on is under a permissive licence (MIT, BSD, Apache 2.0, ISC or MPL 2.0). We ship them unmodified. If you want the full list with versions and licence texts for a particular release, write to support@scriptaiapp.com and we'll send it.

Trademarks

YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Google, Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple and the App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Script AI is an independent product: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google or Apple. We use those names only to describe what the app works with.

Script AI reads your channel's data through the YouTube API Services, which are governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can review or revoke that access at any time on Google's permissions page.

What you make

Your ideas, scripts and videos are yours. We claim no ownership of anything you write or generate in Script AI, and we don't train AI models on your content (see the privacy policy). What the AI writes for you is yours to publish, and it is your responsibility to check it before you do — see the terms of use.
